    "La Maison Noble du Bayle," the first name of Château Guiraud was the possession of the family of Mons Saint Poly. On February 22, 1766 Pierre Guiraud Bordeaux merchant Protestant, became the owner for the sum of 53,000 pounds. At his death in 1799 he bequeathed it to his son Louis. This will make a great field Bayle and above all a great vintage, under the devaluation which he had fallen from 1793 in 1837, the estate he bequeathed to his son Peter Aman worth 250,000 francs. With this latest succession Bayle leaves Guiraud family even though its value has tripled in less than forty years. In 80 years and three generations Guiraud became a vintage prestige dedicated in 1855 as the first thought when imperial classification. On 20 July 2006, Guiraud is taken up in 4 figures, an industrialist, Robert Peugeot and three wineries, Olivier Bernard, Stephan Von Neipperg and Xavier Planty. The meeting of these four characters at a dinner in Paris is the founding event of the new team.
