This 12-hectare property was bought in 1995 by the Enixon family, is located on top of the hill Saillans and benefit from a remarkable view of the valley of Lisle, Libournais, Pomerol and Saint-Emilion. Below the castle of the eighteenth century, vineyards, thirties average sétendent terraces and dun have perfect sunshine on a privileged terroir of coastline and terraces.
Overlooking the Valley Isle, with a magnificent view of Fronsac and Pomerol, the Château Puy Guilhem was built in the seventeenth century on a very old vineyard site. The soil is a clay and limestone plateau in the heart of molasses Fronsac, vineyards extend terraces and hillside below the castle, with fifteen acres dominated by Merlot. Jean-Marc Enixon took over in 2005, the estate acquired by her parents ten years ago, producing wines in Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac. The wines are made in accordance with the result, with controlled yields and a gentle and controlled extraction.
